My name is Mike and I run a Christian youth and community organisation based in Thames and Paeroa known as Thrive Trust,
With a mix of excitement and sadness, we’ll be farewelling one of our youth workers at the end of this year as she heads off to study midwifery. We’re now looking for one or two people to join our youth work team from Term 4 onwards.
The role involves school-based mentoring with young people, alongside delivering wellbeing and resilience programmes in local primary schools.
There’s quite a bit of flexibility:
15–35 hours per week
Thames, Paeroa, or across both communities
$29–$33 per hour
We’re looking for someone who connects naturally with young people, brings maturity and purpose, and would work well within the Christian culture and mission of Thrive.
